Complex Trauma Therapy in Pennsylvania

Virtual therapy for the wounds that were never just one moment.

Some trauma comes from one event. Complex trauma often comes from what happened over and over, or from what you needed and never received. It can grow out of childhood neglect, abuse, an unsafe home, or relationships where love never felt steady.

You may have spent years surviving it, and you may be very good at looking fine. I offer virtual complex trauma therapy for adults and young adults, ages 17 and up, who are located in Pennsylvania.

  • Safety and stability first: We build tools and resources before we approach painful material.

  • EMDR: When you are ready and it is a good fit, EMDR can help you process distressing memories.

  • Somatic work: We gently notice what your body is holding and what helps it settle.

  • Art therapy: Art gives us another language when words are not enough.

  • Attachment work: We look at how early relationships still shape your life today, and we use our relationship as a place to practice trust and repair.

  • Your spiritual life, if you want it included: Your beliefs and experiences are welcome here. Nothing spiritual is ever required. If this is part of what you are moving through, learn about therapy for spiritual awakening.

What to expect

  • We start with a free 15-minute consult to see whether we feel like a good fit. If we move forward, we will talk about your history and goals, then build a plan together.

We go at your pace. Healing is not always a straight line, and some parts may feel harder before they feel better. When that happens, we will name it and adjust together.

Common questions

  • How long does complex trauma therapy take? There is no set timeline. Complex trauma often takes longer because there may be many layers to work through. We will revisit your goals and pace as we go.

Do I have to talk about everything that happened? No. You choose what you share and when. We will not rush into details before you feel prepared.

Is virtual therapy right for complex trauma? It can be a good fit for many people, especially when you have a private space and a plan for hard moments. We will talk about whether it feels safe and supportive for you. If you need more support than weekly virtual therapy can offer, I will help you look at other options.

You do not have to keep holding this alone

If something here feels familiar, I would love to talk.

Is this you?

  • You feel on edge, numb, or shut down, sometimes without knowing why

  • You keep finding yourself in the same painful relationship patterns

  • You struggle to trust people, or to trust yourself

  • You put everyone else first and feel guilty when you have needs

  • Your inner critic is loud, and rest never feels safe

  • You have tried therapy before and still feel like something is missing

You do not need a diagnosis, or a story that feels big enough, to reach out.

How complex trauma therapy can help

  • The ways you learned to cope made sense. They helped you get through. Together, we can honor that while making room for something new.

The goal of our work is not to erase your past. It is to help you feel steadier in your body, understand your patterns, and build more choice in how you respond to yourself and others.
